It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Williams Saxon, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. Brenda peacefully departed this earth with her son (Aaron) by her side Thursday morning, March 13th, 2025, at the age of 71.
Brenda was born on Sunday, June 28th, 1953, in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia, where she developed a lifelong appreciation for the arts and the beauty of nature. She was the loving daughter of Earlene Arnsdorff and the late Roger Manning Williams.
Brenda was a woman of great entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, successfully running her own cleaning business for many years. Her passion for arts and crafts, particularly jewelry making, was well known and celebrated among her family and friends. A true dog lover and music enthusiast, her home was often filled with the sounds of her favorite tunes from the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, and Hootie and the Blowfish.
Brenda's memory will forever be cherished by her loving family. She is survived by her sons, Shannon Saxon (Valerie) and Aaron Saxon (Crystal); her treasured grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life over the years. She also leaves behind her dear mother, Earlene Arnsdorff, and her sister, Cynthia Nettles (Marcus).
Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony Lewis Saxon, and her precious granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Saxon.
A private service for family will be held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church cemetery on Friday March 21st at 1Pm. Arrangements are being handled by Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Garden City Chapel.
Brenda Williams Saxon lived a life full of love, creativity, and generosity. Her warm smile and kind heart will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She left an indelible mark on the world and an everlasting love for her family that lives on in their hearts.
May she rest peacefully, surrounded by the love and music she so adored.
