Bradley W Davis

December 8, 1961 — April 27, 2024

Bradley W. Davis, 62, of Guyton, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

A native of Ilion, New York, he was the son of the late Robert George Davis and Irene Frances Barrett Davis.

Brad loved the outdoors and spent many hours being in nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, grilling, cooking and spending time on the river, where in his younger years, he spent countless summer hours jumping off the steel bridge. Over the years, he managed to amass an extensive collection of firearms. He was also an avid lover of music, especially 80's rock, including REO Speedwagon, Journey and Styx. Some of his favorite movies were Braveheart and Legends of the Fall, of the 1000's of movies that he owned.

Brad was employed as a flight inspector at Gulfstream Aerospace for 30 years before his retirement. He so proud of his job and his career.

He was the kindest soul and a kindred spirit who was loved deeply by his family and friends. He was a giver until his last breath and gave the gift of life to many as an organ donor.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Davis.

Survivors include a son, Cody Davis (Kelsey); grandchildren, Bentley and Harbor Davis; sisters, Kelly Hart (Ronnie), Robyn Sutton (Claude), Melanie Lamport (Brian), Victoria Freeman, and Shari Gage (Scott); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
