Bonnie Thompson McGrath, 83, of Port Wentworth died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her home under the care of Compassus Hospice and surrounded by her family.
Bonnie was born in Cochran, Georgia and was one of six children of the late Carvin Monroe Thompson and the late Matilda Dye Thompson.
She had worked many years for Southside Dry Cleaners and enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Donna Statham and Perry Charles Statham; a brother, Billy Gerald Thompson; two sisters, Dorothy Helen Ondriezek and Peggy Marie Giles.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Joseph "Joe" M. McGrath; sons and a daughters-in-law, Jerry Gandy, Richard "Ricky" Dean Statham (Shirlene), Dennis Adam Statham (Beth); brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy Thompson (Sharon), Warren Thompson (Beverly); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
