Bonnie Lynn

Mrs. Bonnie Lynn Roy, of Guyton, passed away at her home on February 12, 2016.
She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on February 19, 1952, and moved to Georgia at an early age. She graduated from Groves High School in 1970, and received her Bachelor's degree in religious education from Covington Theological Seminary.
Bonnie worked as the Church Secretary of Dean Forest Baptist Church, where she was also a faithful member for over 46 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years William J. Roy Sr., sons Billy Roy, Michael (Jane) Roy, and Jonathan (Kimberly) Roy, seven grandchildren, Daniel, Billy, Nathan, Tori, Rebecka, Justin, and Carson, sister Sandi (Ron) Gault, and brother Robert "Bud" Will.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday, February 15 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory in Garden City.
Funeral Service will be held at 12pm noon on Tuesday at Dean Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Boyd officiating.
Interment will be private.
