Bonnie L. Ward

Bonnie Lou Ward, 56, of Savannah, GA passed away Saturday, August 18th, 2018 with loved ones by her side.  Bonnie was a beloved teacher who impacted the lives of children and colleagues in both Floyd County, KY and Savannah, GA for thirty-three years.  Her passion for the past twelve years were her students in the English Language Learner program at Groves High School.

She attended Community Bible Church and especially enjoyed her small group Bible studies.  Her favorite pastimes were traveling and scrapbooking, but her true love was rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats - Go Big Blue!

She was preceded in death by her parents Zetic and Esta Roop Ward, one brother, and three sisters. She leaves her memories to be cherished by her twin sister Donna Sue Ward and a host of amazing friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at Southside Assembly of God, 401 Tibet Ave. In lieu of flowers please donate online to two organizations close to Bonnie's heart: tinyurl.com/bonnieward
