Bobbie Love Turner 90 of Savannah Georgia, passed away Monday May 29th 2017. He is preceded in death by his father Authur E Turner and mother Pinkey Wright Turner as well his siblings Authur Turner Jr., Noel Turner, Willy Turner and Celeste Franklin.
He is survived by his three sisters Betty Singleton of Chillum Md., Beatrice Brant of Savannah GA., Elsie Arkwright of Bowie MD., Princilla Goodwin of New Jersey.
In January 1951 Bobby was united in matrimony to Lucille Washington they had two daughters Barbara Turner Owes of Teaneck NJ, and Gwendolyn Turner of East Orange NJ who has one son Levar Turner and 4 grandchildren.Bobbie also has daughters Patricia Priester of Long Branch, NJ who has 4 children Michael Priester Jr., Leah Freer, Dannah Jetter, and Jared Priester and 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and Daughter Katrina Williams of Nashville NC who has one daughter Natalie Collins.
Bobbie was educated in Savannah Georgia school system and at age of 17 moved to New Jersey enlisted in the Navy, upon leaving he began working as a Long Shoreman as a crane operator in Newark, New Jersey until his retirement when he returned to Georgia to live. Bobbie enjoyed repairing and restoring cars, and riding motorcycles. He will be remembered as an outgoing and hardworking man, and his smile will be missed.
Memorial Services for Mr. Turner will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Baker McCullough Chapel located in Garden City.
