Bobby (Butterbean) Jerrell Brantley, Sr. age 79, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at his residence with his family present.
The funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Bonaventure Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Wasson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Casey, David Walter, Dewayne Walter, Gary Head, Walter Scott and Bobby Spivey serving as pallbearers.
Bobby was born in Pulaski, Candler County, GA on May 6, 1932 to the late Troy Ellis and Alice Leverette Brantley. He was a retired lineman for Bellsouth Telephone Company and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Willine Rose Livingston Brantley, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law: Shirley Ann Watson and husband Barry, sons and daughter-in-law: Bobby Jerrell Brantley, Jr. all of Savannah and James Michael Brantley and wife Collette of Bloomingdale and nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
