Bobby Eugene Griffin, 70, of Savannah, passed away February 1, 2023 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. Bobby was born in Adel, GA March 19, 1952 to the late Vernon Griffin and Allie Mae Warren
Griffin, one of five children.
He was self-employed as a mechanic and worked alongside his son, Grif, for many years.
Mr. Bobby was an avid fisherman and hunter in his free time. He was always a loving family
man of strong Christian faith. He attended Westside Christian Church in Bloomingdale. He
doted on his family, and most especially, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a hard worker and “tough as a lighter knot”. He saw value in many things others thought
were worthless. One man's trash was another man’s treasure in his eyes. He was known for
being trustworthy and never meeting a stranger. He was blessed with the gift of gab and made
friends wherever he went.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bobby is preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Allen.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Griffin; children, Kristy Griffin, Bobby “Grif” Griffin, Jr. (Jennifer)
and Tim Griffin (Brooke); step daughter Belinda Ogelsby; grandchildren, Ryan (Nikki), Taylor
(Jason), Jenna, Bobby “Griffin” Griffin III, Jackson, Elena, and Elijah, BJ, Kathy, Ashley, Amber
(Donald); great-grandchildren, Colton, Ava, Lane, Cohen, Farrah, Taylor, Krysta, Marissa, Jada,
Dalton, Abigail, Bella, Skyler, Luka, Madelyn, Cillian, Atlas, Jayden, Peyton, Emilia; siblings,
