Billie Kate Barfield Nance

Billie Kate Barfield Nance, 86, of Savannah Georgia passed away November 14, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice in Clermont Florida with her daughter at her side.

She was born August 18, 1935 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Louise Rowell and Clayton Barfield.

Mrs. Nance was a homemaker much of her life, taking care of her husband and children. She was on the Monday Morning Bowling Team and a lifetime member of MRS Ladies Auxiliary, her later years, she worked at Buckman’s Greenhouse. She was a member of Windsor Forest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and sister, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Livy Justice Nance.

Surviving are daughter, Debbie Adams (Michael); son, Michael Nance; grandchildren, Regan Arndt, Clayton Arndt, Lea Adams, Lisa Barnes, Justice Nance and Alyssa Nance; and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 21, 2021 from 4-6PM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hodgson Chapel 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406. Funeral Services will be held Monday November 22, 2021 at 11AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Larry Speir officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
