Billie K. Bellinger, age 84, of Tybee Island passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, under the care of Hospice of Savannah and her beloved husband of 28 years, Howard Bellinger.
Mrs. Bellinger was born on January 14, 1937 to parents, Calvin Cornelius and Louise Stapleton in Big Stone Gap, VA. She retired from the postal service after 30 years of service where she earned many awards for her notable service and performance.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Neil. In addition to her husband, Howard, she leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Sam Jones and Bobby King; daughters, Robbi Ann South (Dennis), Karri Bellinger Farrow and Lynn Bellinger; and grandchildren, Kayley and Amber Jones and Brittany Farrow.
Billie loved to read, do crossword puzzles and spend time with friends. She will be sadly missed, but left many memories.
