God, in His infinite wisdom and divine love, released Beverly Joy Wiley-Harris from all earthly-limitations and granted her everlasting peace and security on June 28,2020.
Beverly Joy Wiley-Harris was born September 8, 1958 to the late Henry and Eloise Wiley. She was born in Harlem, New York, but raised in Savannah, Georgia. She was an active member of Glorify Miracle Deliverance Church of Christ in Estill, SC (Savannah, GA). At Glorify Miracle Deliverance, she served faithfully as a secretary. She also served as a secretary and as a deaconess at Second Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Beverly attended Savannah Chatham County Public Schools and graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 1976. She also attended Savannah Technical College. Beverly worked many years as an administrative secretary for both the Board of Education (Heese Elementary) and Child Youth Services (Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart). She was loved and touched by many people in the Coffee Bluff community.
She was preceded in death by her son and her parents, Henry Wiley Jr. and Eloise Wiley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories two sons, Joseph Walker Mills Jr. (Joshua) of Laurel, MD; Quinton Mills (Montine) of Virginia Beach, VA; one daughter, Whitney Parker (Cardell) of Savannah; four brothers, Retired Captain Henry Wiley III (Cathy) of Savannah; Glenn Wiley (Stefania) of Aviano, Italy; Lance Wiley of Jonesboro, GA; Roger Wiley (Nanette) of Savannah; one sister, Pastor Dr. Rita Herring (Elisha) of Savannah; one aunt, Jacqueline Guice of Manchester, CT; 6 grands; 1 goddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
