Beverly Jean Miller, 93, of Savannah passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Morningside of Savannah.
She was born May 28, 1928 in Savannah, GA to the late Addie Hicks Metzger and Walter Timothy Metzger. She was a Jehovah’s Witness. Singing came naturally to her and she did win several singing contests, without any formal training, which led her to be involved with the USO in her younger years.
She met and married the love of her life, James K. Miller. Together they enjoyed two children. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and participating in bible study. She was an Avon representative for many years. Her love for animals was only overshadowed by her love for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James K. Miller; and a brother, Dale Metzger, Sr.
She is survived by a son, Robert M. Miller (Tammy); a daughter, Deborah Kegl; six grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
