Betty Horne Yawn

Betty Horne Yawn, 85, of Savannah passed away peacefully November 25, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Walter Norton Horne and Ethel Matilda Rahn Horne.
She graduated from Commercial High School, and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Betty was an emeritus member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Palestine Chapter #249. Betty was a long time member of Silk Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed cake decorating, sewing and needlework in addition to traveling.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Levis Lamar Yawn and brother, Walter Horne.
Surviving are daughters, Kellie Bruner (Keith) and Olivia Shuman (Michael); grandchildren, Kristina Kitchens (John), Kyle Bruner (Jessie), Kasey Bruner and Matilda Shuman; and great grandchildren, Snyder Kitchens and ClaraJoy Kitchens.
A Graveside service will be held Tuesday November 29, 2022 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Johnathan Phillips officiating.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel 2794 US Highway 80 W Garden City, Georgia has been entrusted with arrangements.
