Betty was born in Daisy, Ga to the parents of the late James Belford Weathers and Nancy Alice Boyette. She was raised in Pembroke, GA. Ms. Betty was part of a large family.She taught herself painting and enjoyed sewing.
She was the beloved wife of Raymond Ervin Porter who passed on March 12, 2013.
She is survived by two daughters; Regina Denice Liu (Ying ), and Karen Renee Miles; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Liu, Harrison Liu, and Zachary Miles.
