Betty Jean Roberts Wilson, age 82, of Savannah passed away Sunday, May 28th, 2017 at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, Georgia.
Born in Swainsboro, she was the daughter of Rayford Roberts and Ruby Irene Archer Roberts. She worked as a Secretary for Kress 5 & 10 Store and Levy's of Savannah in the Linen Department. She was a member of First Baptist Church of the Islands,. and a member of The Good Neighbor Sunday School Class. She was a faithful member of the Woodmen of the World, where she had served as a Secretary and Treasurer for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Felix Wilson, Jr., her son, Ronnie Wilson (Kathy), Savannah, Ga, her two daughters, Sherry Wrenn (Joe), Savannah, Ga, Cindy Bryant (Ray), Wadley, Ga., four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Brooks Cail, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Donations can be made to Savannah Baptist Center.
