Betty Cowart Fields

Betty Jean Cowart Fields, 84, passed away on Monday, April 16 at the Care Center in Effingham County.

She was born on October 30, 1933 as one of nine children in Cobbtown, Georgia to Galvin "GW" Cowart and Pearl Findley Cowart.

She was survived by her children Roger David Fields (Monica) and Liz Fields Allen (Richard); sister, Bootsey Duke; and grandmother to 13 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Effingham Care Center for the love and care shown to their mother during her stay.
