Betty Lou "Nina" Adkins, 80, Of Richmond Hill, GA passed away on Friday July 8th at her home with loved ones.

Betty was born in Raleigh, West Virginia to the late Henry and Nannie Whiting. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Nannie Whiting, Her Husband, James Wendell Adkins, Her Daughter, Barbara Adkins and her siblings. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed! She loved to sit and watch her gospel shows every Sunday morning while drinking her coffee! She was a Godly women and enjoyed singing her gospel songs. She also enjoyed time with family and friends, going to yard sales, cooking, being a homemaker, and just overall being around people she loved. She was a momma and grandma to many and took everyone in as her own. She was such a blessing to be around and to know!

Betty is survived by her Daughter; Gloria Turner, Brothers; Kenny(Kay) Whiting and Ernie Whiting, 6 Grandchildren; Danielle Turner(Buddy), David Turner(Carla), James Turner(Taylor), Casey Hughes(Justin), Ashley Mercier(Van "Betty's Second Husband"), Victoria Nava and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 16th, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel to remember Betty's life.

Services have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel.
