Bernard "Bernie" French

Bernard R. "Bernie" French, 82, of Savannah, GA passed away Monday September 24, 2018 at his home.

Bernie was born in Crown Point, NY and spent over 20 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, V.F.W, and American Legion. He was a very generous man that always gave to many causes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Helen Reed French; and wife of 48 years, Charlotte N. French; son, Arthur L. French.

He is survived by his daughter Nancy Lang; grandchildren, Deanna Lang, Heidi French, April French, David French, Charlotte and Tommy Shackelton; great- grandchildren, Valanie Lang, Jacob Myrick, James Myrick, Natania French, Keenan French, Azaelya French, Jedidian French, Katelyn Butts, Alan Butts, Will Shackelton, James Myrick, and Devon Chapman; great-great- grandchildren, James Myrick Jr. and Zep Myrick; brothers and sisters, Bertha Ebert, Brian French, Beverly Higgins, Barry French, Bruce, French, Bonnie, Bethany Tromley, Boyd French, Bernedette Bink, and Barbette West.

Visitation: Friday September 28, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home: Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
