Beatrice Faircloth was born on November 27, 1923.   She passed away March 3, 2018, peacefully at her daughter's home in Florida following a long illness.Beatrice was the eldest of 10 children.  She is preceded in death by her father and mother - Lenard and Olar Motes.  Her husband, Amos James Faircloth, Jr., passed in 1963.   Siblings who have passed include Merle (1937), Lenard (1939), Marie (2006), J.C. (2010), Nellie Ruth (2011) and Grace (2015).She is survived by three children, Jimmie Douglas Faircloth of Texas City, TX; Linda J. Lee  (Henry Lee) of Rincon, GA, and Jacqueline D. Streett of Valrico, FL.Beatrice had seven grandchildren - Jason Faircloth, Jonathan Faircloth, and Jennifer Earl (Kyle Earl), Angela Nicole Pye (Daniel Pye), Jamie C. Lee,  Kimberly A. Eshelman, and Amanda L. Eshelman. Four great-grandchildren - Alexis Earl, Kyla Earl, Tristan Pye, and Dawson Pye.Surviving siblings include Sarah Kate Wilson, Eugene Motes (Violet), and Gloria Mae Barnes (Wayne) and sister-in-law Margaret Motes.Beatrice and her husband delivered newspapers for the Savannah Evening Press in the Avondale subdivision starting in 1946.   Following her husband's death, she continued the paper route until 1996 when the evening newspaper was discontinued.  She loved her church, gardening, watching baseball, and watching gameshows on tv.  Her greatest love was caring for her grandchildren and watching them mature.Beatrice will go to her final resting place next to her husband in Hillcrest Cemetery East in Savannah.   Pallbearers are Gerald Faircloth, Allen Faircloth, Robert Faircloth, Steve Motes, Leonard Motes, and Ethan Davis.The Rev. Ronnie Miles will conduct the funeral service.  Visitation will be 9:30 - 10 am Saturday March 10th, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with Interment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East.
