Barbara Joyce Truitt, age 79, of Savannah passed away Friday, August 4, 2023.
Mrs. Truitt was born on September 6, 1943 in Danville, Georgia to the late Hiram LeRoy Arnold and the late Willie Everett Daughtry Arnold. Before retiring, she worked as a customer service representative with Kmart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rick Arnold and Larry David Arnold; daughter, Monica Truitt; and her grandson, Peter Judson, IV.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Jeff Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill & Susan Arnold and Joey & DeLeah Arnold; sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Larry Cribbs; and grandchildren, Zakia Truitt, Daniel Smith, and Desinae Dixon.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd. Savannah, GA 31404).
