Barbara Ann Reed

September 21, 1954 — December 23, 2020

Barbara Ann Reed, 66, of Guyton, passed away on December 23, 2020 in Savannah, Georgia.

Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Anna and Oliver Ferrell on September 21, 1954. Barbara sparked joy to all who knew her. She moved to Savannah, GA in the 90’s and fell in love with the beauty of Savannah. If you wanted to find Barbara, you could easily find her in the springtime fishing or in the fall hunting in the woods. If you were to come over to see Barbara, she would ask if you were hungry. Even if you weren’t hungry, Barbara would always have the best cooked meal, fresh baked bread, or a family recipe to share with you. Barbara’s other hobbies also included arts and crafts, woodworking, or finding garage sale deals. Barbara was most proud of her artistic endeavors when she would restore a junky item and make it brand new. Barbara was retired; however she had a long career serving the Effingham County community. Barbara shared her love of the outdoors and Georgia wildlife with her spouse, Delmer Reed.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Oliver Ferrell, sister, Teresa Ferrell, brother, Francis Ferrell, 1 st husband, Theodore Patronis Sr., son, Teddy Patronis.

Barbara is survived by husband, Delmer Reed, children, Tony and Katie Patronis, Keith and Diane Miller, Heather Patronis and Joe Sutera, grandchildren, Tiffany and Megan Miller, London and Brantley Patronis, great-grandson, Johnathan Miller, brother and sister, Mike and Karen Ferrell, nieces, Lizzie and Maggie Ferrell and nephews, Giles, Jamie and Christopher Ferrell.
