Barbara Lea Turner Page (78) was a gentle and loving soul who passed away in her home at 3AM on Sunday April 7, 2024, surrounded by family.
Barbara was born on September 7, 1945 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Oren Lloyd Turner and Willie Mae Hoyt Turner. She was the youngest of her siblings, Elizabeth (Lib) Roser Cloniger, O.L Turner, David Turner, and Andy Turner. Barbara and her husband Otis A. (Bucky) Page spent 59 years of marriage together. They had two beautiful children, Elizabeth Page North and Kathryn Page Daniel. Barbara loved to read, listen to Elvis, and was a proud member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 42 years. If she was not at home with her books and her Dachshunds, she was attending the Silver Nuggets Senior Group, Women's Mission Union (WMU), or The Good Neighbors Sunday School at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Otis A. (Bucky) Page; her daughters, Elizabeth Page (Danny) North and Kathryn Page (Michael) Daniel; her grandchildren, A. J. Benevento III, Aaron Daniel Tarver (Destiny Clegg), Alyssa Nicole Whitford, Samuel Lee Tarver, Joshua Leon Tarver; and her great-granddaughter, Aleena Vera Lee Tarver. Barbara’s memory will live on as she is remembered as the wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother she was.
A Visitation will be held Monday April 15th, 2024 at 10 AM, A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am at Immanuel Baptist Church 7375 Hodgson Memorial Drive 31406.
