Barbara Lane O'Rear Willis, 74, of Savannah and wife of Winston J. Willis died Tuesday, July 25th at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Waycross, GA on August 11, 1942, the daughter of the late Marshall and Lorraine (Jo) Bryson O'Rear.
Barbara Lane graduated from Waycross High School in Waycross, GA in 1960, attended and graduated with a BS degree from Valdosta State College in 1964. She worked as a Quality Control Specialist for the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children's Services. She retired in 1997 and has lived in Savannah during her remaining years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Winston J. Willis; son, Christopher Lane Willis.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 28 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 1 W. Macon Street, Savannah, GA. A reception will be held following the service in the historic Green-Meldrim Parish House for family and friends.
