Barbara Jean Cramer from Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Barbara was the wife of the late Steve Cottrell. She is survived by her two children, Kristy Creech and Steven Cottrell, along with her three brothers Tom (Pennsylvania), Jim (Savannah), and Rusty (Florida). Barbara was adored by and known as Nina to her two grandsons Christopher and Aiden. She is preceded in death by her parents Claire and Ed Cramer.
Barbara is originally from Long Island, NY, and after graduating from Kings Park School of Nursing, relocated to Savannah Georgia in 1978. She was a Registered Nurse for over 35 years and was a loving caretaker for her mother Claire in her final years. Taking care of others was truly her calling. In her younger days Barbara was an avid softball and tennis player. She also loved to work in her garden and spend time at the Beach. Barbara was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic church.
Visitation will be held at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12:00 noon.
