Barbara Jeanne Lansford Brown

Barbara Jeanne Lansford Brown, 86, of Rincon, GA passed away peacefully Tuesday May 24, 2022, in Savannah, GA.

Barbara was born to the late Clarence L. and Mary Card in Binghamton, NY. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church. Barbara graduated from Florida State University with her BS in Business Education. While at college she became a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and met her first husband, Robert Lansford. She worked at Savannah Country Day for over 31 years teaching typing, keyboarding, and was the Advisor for the yearbook. During her retirement, she was reacquainted with a co-worker Clarence Brown, and they married in June of 2010. They enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, camping, and going on cruises. She was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, “Nanny”, daughter, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clarence "Bud" Card, and John Card. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Clarence E. Brown Sr.; daughters, Kelley Jeanne Hancock (Husband, Michael and children, Liam, Ezra, and Griffin), Allison Lansford Davis (Gaylon), Linda Marie Martin (Robbie); son, Eddie Brown (Cindy); 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 12pm to 1pm Saturday May 28, 2022, at Baker McCullough Funeral

Home- Garden City Chapel.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm Saturday May 28, 2022, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home-

Garden City Chapel.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
