Barbara Ann Barras Colson

Barbara Ann Barras Colson, 90, of Garden City, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Pruitt Health - Seaside in Port Wentworth.
A native of Port Wentworth, Barbara was the daughter of the late Augus Anthony Barras and the late Hattie Margaret Loncon Barras.
Barbara was raised at the Sugar Refinery and was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she played the piano, organ and sang in the choir. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy and enjoyed building miniatures, doll's and houses.
She was preceded in death by husband of 59 years, Edward "Ed" Davis Colson, Sr. and daughter, Meg Ulmer.
Survivors include her sons, Dave, Ricky and John Colson; grandchildren, Lee, Nicholas, Leah, Angel and Kenny; 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family will receive visitors Monday, April 24, 2023, 11:00 am - 12:00 noon with funeral services beginning at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, 2794 West US Highway 80, Garden City, GA 31408.
Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery.
