Banna Brown Burke, 98, of Savannah, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Summer Breeze, on Wilmington Island.
She was born in Bamberg, South Carolina, and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Earl Burke, Savannah, Ga; 2 brothers, J. B. Brown and Aaron Brown; 4 sisters, Adele Cave, Bertha O'Hayer, Kate Snyder, and Dorothy Lassiter.
She will be dearly missed by her family, and many nieces, nephews, and especially her daughters/nieces, Belinda, Zan, and Jan.
She worked for Dearing Chevrolet Company, for 40 years, where she served as Office Manager.
She was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class, the Ladies Circle of the Church, the Savannah Ladies Business Club, and the Metropolitan Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation: 10 - 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church, with Pastor Alan Bosson, officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
