Born Betty LaTrelle Westberry on June 27, 1928 in Twin City, Georgia, her family moved to Savannah when she was a young girl. She is survived by her sister Jerry Cohen (Thomas), brother Austin Pool (Frankie), and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister, aunt, friend, artist, teacher, philosopher, historian, and curious soul. Trelle found magic and beauty when others saw only the mundane. She was a friend to all creatures and caretaker of the earth. With a fierce spirit, she often shirked convention in favor of adventure. She bravely cut her own path through life--discovering wonders all along the way.
Home at last, on to the next adventure.
Visitation Sunday from 6pm to 8 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert Baker Chapel.
