Ashley Nicole Anderson

Ashley Nicole Anderson (Zimish), age 39, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

She is survived by her loving and most prized daughter, Emma Anderson of Guyton; parents Jackie and Robert Jones of Richmond Hill and George and Pam Zimish of Guyton; sister Amanda Zimish of Rincon; stepsisters Brandi Ellis, Crissy Rose, and Jenny Kearns; nephew Kaden Zimish; and Emma’s father Robert Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Glen and Martha Smith and Bernice and Eugene Wright.

Ashley was born May 24, 1983, in Houston, Texas and was raised in Savannah, GA., where she graduated from Groves High School. After school, she attended Savannah Tech and worked as an orthodontist assistant for several years. She left her profession to become a full-time mother of her daughter, Emma. Ashley loved her daughter Emma more than life itself. She treasured her time being a mom and raising her daughter. This was the most special bond between a mother and her daughter.

Ashley was known for her sense of humor, beautiful smile, and for her love of people. She had a special bond with animals. Ashley was the most endearing and trusting soul and loved deeply. She loved nature and its peacefulness. She was always lending a helping hand to others in need.

Ashley will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She was one of a kind and will be leaving a huge gap in the lives of those she left behind.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00, service at 11:00 on December 19, 2022, at Baker & McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City, Georgia. Burial will follow and be at 1:30, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, in Fleming, Georgia.
