Arpita Patel Lavender, age 43 of Savannah, after a very courageous fight against metastatic cancer and MS, hung up her gloves and joined her Father and Sister in Heaven on January 12th, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family.
Arpita was a proud graduate of Alfred Ely Beach High School, class of 1994. Outside of her immediate family, her classmates were her world and each of them knew how important they were to her. After marrying and relocating to Virginia, she went on to gain her Associates Degree in Accounting and working as an accountant prior to discovering her passion as a private investigator.
Although Arpita loved working in the field, nothing made her happier than transitioning to being a homemaker and raising her and her husbands 2 children who both now are seniors at Troy University. In her spare time, she would spend it with friends, traveling and volunteering with her family to help the less fortunate.
Arpita is survived by her husband, Lewis "Art" Lavender, Jr; son, Aaron Lavender; daughter, Ankita Lavender; mother, Sarmistha Patel; brother, Ashish Patel.
