Anthony Ray Landing, 67, of Port Wentworth, Georgia passed away April 27, 2023.
He was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 14, 1955 to Mary Ellen Jenkins Landing and raised by the late Cecil Landing.
He grew up in Chatham County and attended Chatham County Schools. After school, he pursued a career as a mechanic for the ILA, where he was employed for over 30 years.
Anthony was a single father for many years and worked hard to raise his sons to be upstanding men. He taught them the value of being there for those in need and helping them in any way possible.
He was an avid motorcyclist for over 50 years and enjoyed his time as a member of ABATE, often participating in the numerous poker runs that were held.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Landing.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Joanne Gross Landing; sons, Christopher Landing (Deidra) and Daniel Landing; step-daughter, Jill Everson; grandchildren, Autumn, Jordis and Luke Landing and Caden and Gage Everson; mother, Mary Ellen Landing; siblings, Terry Landing (Margie), Jerry Landing (Jan), Debra Landing (Mark) and David Landing (Brandi); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1PM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel 2794 US Highway 80 W Garden City, Georgia 31408 912-964-2862.
