Anne Ford McClelland, age 88, of Savannah passed away Friday, January 8, 2021.
Mrs. McClelland was born on November 22, 1932 in Savannah, the youngest daughter of Earl Patrick Ford and Cassie Elkins Ford. She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was active in several ministries, including regular Bible study and her Circle of the Women of ELCA.
Mrs. McClelland was preceded in death by her loving husband, Troy Russell McClelland, Jr., and their son, David Earl McClelland; her parents, her brothers Earl, Jimmy, and Curtis, and her sisters Frances and Jewell. She is survived by her son, Hon. Troy Russell McClelland, III (Janice) of Cumming, GA; daughter, Elizabeth McClelland Fulmer (Jay) of Buford, GA; and grandchildren, Matthew Russell McClelland, Andrew Troy Fulmer, and Stephen Thomas Fulmer; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McClelland was a part of the Windsor Forest community for over 60 years. After her retirement as long-time bookkeeper at Windsor Forest High School, she was very active with the Windsor Forest Golden Age Center where she taught line dance and enjoyed many events and travel adventures with her friends.
She was a wonderful and proud mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and aunt, and a good friend to so many in the Savannah community and beyond. She loved well, was well-loved by all, and will be greatly missed.
Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with a private graveside funeral service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
