Anne F. Hodges

Anne Fares Hodges, 79, of Guyton passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Howard H. Fares and Georgia Cheely Fares.

Anne was a member of the Over Sugar Hill Club, she loved cooking, her family and her grandchildren were her world. She never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. She loved watching NASCAR and loved her Georgia Bulldogs.

She was preceded in death by husband, Benjamin Everett Hodges, Sr. and a son, Mark Howard Hodges.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cecile Fay Brazzell (Joey) of Ellabell, son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin "Bennie" Everett Hodges, Jr. (Rita) of Guyton, 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Jason, Anthony, Kyle, and Kiersti; 9 great grandchildren, Caydence, Jayden, Jacob, Camron, Emma, Alex, Haley, Jace, and Canaan; a brother and sister-in-law, Jon H. Fares (Margie), other family , nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Baker McCullough Funeral Garden City Chapel Wednesday November 24, 2021 from 1pm to 2pm with a service to celebrate her life beginning at 2pm.
