Ann Silirie, age 81, of Savannah passed away January 16th, 2013.
Born in 1932 in Rahway, New Jersey of Hungarian immigrant parents, she was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School in New York and held various interesting positions with companies such as CBS, Johnson & Johnson, and the Department of Defense.
She is survived by three daughters, Dana Hix-Lee (Ron), Cara Gresham (John), and Gina Mallon (Jim); five grandchildren, Daniel & Dylan Hix, Catherine Pickett (Shawn), Lindsey Gresham and Jackie Mallon; nieces Lisa and Elisabeth Kovacs; nephew Jonathon Kovacs, and grand-niece Selene Kovacs.
Ann's family would like to thank the staff of Home Instead and Anne Kelly, Barbara Kovacs, and Eva Graham who gave their heartfelt care and time,
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, January 26 at Bonaventure Funeral Home, with Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 in the Savannah Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, 3343 Peachtree Road, NE, #M20, Atlanta, GA 30326.
