Ann James Farmer, 80, of Savannah, went to be with her heavenly father, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 after a 7-year illness at her residence with her Family by her side.

Ann was raised in Lyons, Ga and moved to Savannah in 1956 to pursue a career in Business Administration at Draughns Business College.

She worked for Alee Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite Temple for her entire 18-year career.

She enjoyed traveling with her loving husband of 59 years and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.P. and Reba James and her grandson, Christian Allen Morrison.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Yancy B. Farmer, her brother, Charles James (Barbara) of Lyons, Ga, her children, Gregg Farmer (Loretta), of Austin, TX, Timmy Farmer (Kim), of Fayetteville, NC and Tanya Morrison (Ira), of Savannah; grandchildren, Dustin Farmer, Nicholas Farmer, Anthony Farmer, Alexander Farmer, Chase Morrison and many cousins and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, with Dr. James Staubes, officiating.

Visitation:  9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

The family would like to Thank the Islands Hospice, THA Group for their loving and devoted care of Ann during her illness.
