Andrew "Andy" Carll Harbin, 60, of Black Creek, passed away on July 18, 2019 at his residence.
Andy was born in McRae, GA; was a graduate of Telfair County High School where he was a Quarterback for the Trojan's Football Team and was on the Swimming Team, after High School Andy attended College for a brief time before enlisting in the U. S. Marine Corps where he served for 4 years.
He was employed by Gulfstream for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Herman Harbin, Jr. and Camille Nairn Harbin and his brother, Michael Joseph Harbin; his father-in-law, Richard Payne.
He is survived by his first wife, Marilyn Harbin the mother of his 2 children, Jeremy Harbin, Gillian Harbin Dowd and her husband, Jamison; his current wife, Evelyn Payne Harbin; his stepson, J. D. Barnes and his wife, Angela; 7 grandchildren which brought him his greatest joys in life; 2 sisters, Deborah Harbin, Michele Harbin Barrett and her husband, Brad; his mother-in-law, Sandra Payne; and his large Gulfstream family.
The family will receive friends at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, on Hwy 80, Monday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel with Rev. Norwood Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Bloomingdale, GA.
