Rebecca Barrow Mercier, 58, Savannah, went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning, December 9, 2016.
Rebecca was born December 6, 1958, in Savannah. She worked as a respiratory therapist before becoming a homemaker. She was passionate about her Christian faith, her family, and knitting.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Lonnie Mercier; children: Adam Mercier (April), Amy Mercier Moyer (Ross), Gulf Shores, AL, and Shannon Elizabeth Mercier; brother and sister: Richard "Bubba" Barrow and Carolyn Jennelle; brother in law: Michael "Ace" Jennelle; two sisters in law: Alicia Barrow and Pam Barrow; grandchildren: Bryce, Alyssa, and Kennedy; and countless loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and her 14 year-old dog, Sally, who was her constant companion.
She is preceded in death by her dear parents, Arthur and Margaret Grooms Barrow.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, at Evangel Temple at 5704 Jasmine Avenue, 31406, 354-2632. A reception and lunch will be held immediately following the service.
