Allen Hunter Henderson

Allen Hunter Henderson, age 58, of Savannah passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022.

Mr. Henderson was born on October 16, 1963 in Savannah, the son of Bobbie Vance Henderson and the late Robert T. Henderson, Sr. He was a graduate of Savannah High School and continued his formal education at Georgia Southern University. He began his career in hospitality working with the Hyatt Regency in Savannah and later with the Hyatt at Hilton Head Island while living there for a short time. After retiring from the Hyatt he tended bar until the time of his passing. He was raised as a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and later attended Isle of Hope United Methodist Church. Allen enjoyed classic cars and was active with several classic car clubs in Savannah.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his mother, Bobbie Vance Henderson; sister, Rebecca Henderson Gnann (Rick); brother, Robert Thomas Henderson, Jr. (Holly); as well as 6 nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Bonaventure Cemetery.
