Alice Ricks Merritt, 88, of Savannah died Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Adrian, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Ricks and the late Bessie Davis Ricks.
Alice was a member of Isle of Hope Baptist Church. She gave 50 years of service with International Paper in the accounting department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Merritt.
Survivors include her sister, Polly Foskey of Adrian, Georgia; brother, Sammy Ricks of Adrian, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Isle of Hope Baptist Church, 22 Rose Avenue, Savannah. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, September 29, at Isle of Hope Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
