Alice Faye 'Mama Lou' Bland

Alice Faye Bland "Mama Lou", 84, of Garden City GA passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Sardis GA, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Mobley and Tommie Lucille Cullen Mobley.

Mama Lou was a homemaker. She loved her family, her cats and working in her yard.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Bland (Larry Cornett), Kathy Cribbs (Clay), James H. Bland, Jr, "Bubba" (Lorraine), Tracy Deloach (Dennis), Jason Bland (Bridgett), Travis Bland (Francesca); husband, James H. Bland, Sr.: grandchildren, Dana Odgen, Kelsey Bland, Austin Bland, Ashley Bland, Justin Cribbs (Sarah), Hillary White, JP Bland, Joshua Allen (Megan), Cody Allen, Robyn Allen, Casey Bland, Jacob Bland, Jason Bland, Jr., Kayla Bland, Dakota Bland (Summer), Hayden Bland, Taylor Bland, Payton Bland, Joey Mobley, Jerry, Mobley, Buddy Mobley; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Harrelson officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Chatham County Humane Society, St. Jude's, or a charity of your choice.
