Alfue Lee Winnigham Ennis, 64, of Garden City passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice Savannah.
A native of Savannah Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hessie Winningham and the late Mary Royal Winningham. Lee was raised in Bloomingdale and was a graduate of Tompkins High School Class of 1977. She was a caregiver of all ages and an active member of Coastal Cathedral Church of God for more than 40 years. She was always caring for children and did so from 1980 - 2006. Lee was a devoted wife, mom, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 34 years, George Theo Ennis, Jr.; a granddaughter, Haven Eliza Brinson and a brother, Lawrence Winningham.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Nikki Ennis Brinson (John "Trey"), Amanda Ennis; grandchildren, Jason Ennis, Emmalee Brinson, Alexyus Brinson; great granddaughter, Blakelyn Ennis; sisters, Junell "Nell" Edwards, Ada Cathy Richardson, Lisa Winningham Harris; brothers, Phillip Winningham, Gilford "Bo" Winningham; mother-in-love, Mary Ennis; sisters-in-love, Tronda Ennis Hatchell and Rhonda Ennis Scott; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Dyar officiating.
Burial: Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, near Gillisonville, SC.
