Albert Jones Jr., 75, of Savannah, GA transitioned Thursday October 10, 2019 at his home.
Albert was a member of the Sanctuary Church and First African Baptist Church. He loved to BBQ, go crabbing, fishing, and shrimping. He was a decorated veteran which served in the US Army and fought in the Vietnam War and Later he joined the 117 Air Force Reserves. Albert could fix anything on a gun ship and was known to listen more than he spoke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Jones Sr. and brother, Donald Jones.
Albert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian Jones; mother, Thelma Jones; sons, Dewayne Jones (Monica) and like a son, Michael Jones; daughters, Demetria Jones (Clarence), Tasha Jones, and D. Monique Eastman Jones; brothers, Delma Jones, Andre Jones, and Phillip Jones; sisters, Sandra Jones, Dorothy Jones, and Monica Jones; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm Monday October 21, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
The family would like to invite everyone after the service to Old Times Country Buffet.
