Aksel J.C. Anderson III, 71, of Bloomingdale, GA passed away Friday April 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
Aksel was a Specialty Carpenter with over 47 years of experience. He served as a Merchant Marine and later enlisted in the United States Army having served in Vietnam in Okinawa, Japan. He was a great dad who loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and was a hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aksel Jr. and Autie Anderson; sister, Jan Mayeux (Leroy).
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda Anderson; sons, Codie Anderson and Marvin Richardson (Hollie); daughters, Brandi Elizabeth Bledsoe (Greg), Melissa Anderson, and Laura Mazzara; brother, John Anderson; sisters, Nora Johnson (Albert) and Autie Gail Finton (Tony); and 7 grandchildren.
Services will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers remembrance may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
