Rona Wilkes

Rona Blalock Wilkes, 97, of Savannah, Ga. passed way on March 5, 2018. Mrs. Wilkes was born Manassas, Ga but was a life long resident of Savannah Ga. for 73 years.

Mrs. Wilkes was also a member of the ConneXion Church of Savannah Ga. In addition, Mrs. Wilkes was also a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star-White Star Chapter #367. She also worked at Belk Savannah for 32 years, where she retired.

Her memory will be forever treasured by her sons; Jeffery L Wilkes (Dorothy), Garry G. Wilkes (Jane) and her daughters; Marsha Etheridge (Jim Brannon), and Pamela Pianka (Clif Rice). Also, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilkes was preceded in death by her loving husband Hansel G Wilkes and also by her parents; Melton and Matie Blalock.

Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 12 pm on Saturday, March 10 2018. There will be a visitation an hour prior to the service. Reverend David Blalock will officiate the service. Baker McCullough Funeral Home of Savannah Ga, Hodgson Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arraignments.
