Donald Lee Fallin

Donald Lee Fallin, age 87, of Savannah died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Fallin was born March 1, 1935 in Savannah to the late Fay Warren Fallin and the late Marguerite Rose Byrnes. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a parishioner at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Mr. Fallin was very involved in the community; he served on the St. Patrick Day parade committee with adjutant staff , was awarded Veteran of the year, and was a member of numerous Irish societies and Veterans associations.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fallin was preceded in death by two sons, Patrick Fallin and Parrish Fallin; and his grandson who passed away last Sunday at the age of 17, Patrick Fallin.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patricia A. Fallin of Savannah; sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn & Lisa Fallin of Marietta, Kevin Fallin of Savannah, and Timothy Fallin of Savannah; grandchildren, Shawn Lee Jr., Amanda, Noah, Ashlyn, Paul, and Janice; three great grandchildren; many additional relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406) with a Rosary Service to follow at 5:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist (222 E. Harris St. Savannah, GA 31401).

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation ( www.wish.org ) or the American Legion Post #36 (2309 E. Victory Dr. Savannah, GA 31404).
